Puppy Preschool
Puppy Preschool is a program designed to give your new family member the solid foundations in socialization and good-manners skills to make them confident and well-balanced dogs. Learning these skills at this stage of their lives is critical since their primary socialization window (8-16 weeks of age) is only open at this time.

We realize that learning these skills in a safe, controlled environment is vital to protect both their physical health at present and their mental health for the future. This is why we require that all puppies have received at least their first set of Distemper & Parvo vaccinations. All puppies should also have received a Bordatella vaccine to protect them against kennel cough to participate in class.
As an added precaution, all puppies are carried into the classroom to prevent transmission of diseases from outdoors. The training takes place in facilities which are cleaned prior to class and whose clients (at daycare facilities) are required to vaccinate for Distemper, Parvo and Bordatella.
If your veterinarian has concerns about your puppy attending class, please invite them to read this letter written by a prominent Veterinary Behaviorist and Preventative Medicine specialist, Dr. R.K. Anderson, concerning balancing the concerns of health risk versus early socialization classes for puppies.
