We can help

Synergy's trainer Amber helps Katie learn to walk nicely on leash
Day training takes the pressure off of you and allows you to have an expert in the field of dog training build the behavioral foundations which your dog needs. After we build the good behaviors, we then show you how to keep them solid and to continue moving forward.
We start off with an initial meeting to assess what is happening with your dog. Then we develop a management program to stop the inappropriate behaviors from becoming worse. Once you have decided that day training is the option you would like to pursue, we discuss how many sessions we would recommend for your dog based on your dog’s behavior and our professional experience.
Why fix it yourself?
Imagine you are having electrical problems and you call in an electrician to help you out. He looks at your electric outlet and tells you, “It looks like you outlet is broken. I’m going to spend some time showing you how to fix it, leave you with some written materials and then get back to you in a week to see how it went.”
Clearly this would not work for electrical repair. Many people don’t have the time or the expertize to handle the task. Dog training is one of the situations where having an expert provide the know-how and hands-on expertise to establish a solid foundation to a problem can make a huge difference. The electrician can fix the outlet, and then afterward help educate you about how to avoid over-loading it in the future. We can help you do the same thing for your dog.

Summary
Don’t worry about training! We’ll get things started for you and then meet with you once a week to help you maintain what your dog has learned. The number of total visits depends on the behaviors that you are trying to change, their severity and the training goals you and our trainer decide on.
After day training take place, we provide ongoing support over phone and e-mail to make sure that you get answers to your training questions and to tell to you if we feel that additional sessions might be warranted.
