Behavior Evaluations: Our experienced Behavior Clinician conducts in-depth assessments to identify your dog’s unique stressors and triggers. With this insight, we develop a personalized plan to support their emotional and behavioral well-being.
Stress-Reducing Techniques: We utilize gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and calming aids—such as pheromones—to help ease anxiety during exams and treatments. Our goal is to make each visit a more positive experience.
Sedation When Needed: For dogs who require additional support, we offer sedation for procedures like nail trims, vaccinations, and routine exams, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable process for both you and your pet.
Personalized Care Plans: After the initial consultation, we provide a customized care plan with tailored recommendations to help reduce stress during future vet visits, along with behavior modification strategies if needed.
Vet Care We Can Perform with Sedation
Some procedures can be completed during our Vet Care Recovery Program with the support of sedation, including:
- Physical exams
- Labwork (blood, urine, and other sample collection)
- Vaccinations (core vaccines)
- Nail trims
- Hair or mat clipping
- Ear cleaning
- Home Again microchip implantation
For more complex or emergency cases, we'll refer you to your primary vet, a specialist, or an emergency clinic. This includes care like:
- Wound treatment
- Emergency procedures
- Gastrointestinal issues (vomiting, diarrhea)
- Radiographs or ultrasounds
- Dental procedures
How to Schedule Your Dog’s Vet Care Consult

- Fill out and submit our Vet Care Consult Form so we can better understand your dog's specific needs.
- Our client care coordinator will reach out to schedule your consultation. The consult price is $295 which must be prepaid when scheduling, with a $150 non-refundable fee.
