Anxiety solutions for dogs, compassion for humans

I have a four year old dog named McLeod with a lot of energy and anxiety, which is a terrible combination. When he thinks he is going out he barks incessantly, shakes uncontrollably when riding in a car, and is very rough with our other dogs. However, he is very loving, loyal and shows a lot of affection to everyone in his pack.

Dr. Valli came out to evaluate our dog (and us). She is great and I was very impressed with her knowledge and understanding. She quickly deduced the issues at hand and provided recommendations and treatment. She is not only an accomplished dog behaviorist, but an excellent people behaviorist as well. Dr. Valli used positive reinforcement in teaching my wife and I how to work with our dog.

Dr. Valli made sure we understood this was not a quick fix, but that it will take time, patience, and consistency on our part.
