Dog Training + Behavior Modification
Our certified and experienced trainers work regularly with our Behavior Veterinarians’ patients, while also providing training services to the general public.
We offer both in-person and virtual training to anyone, anywhere for almost any training needs. We also provide private training and group classes.
Synergy trainers can help you and your dog with:
- Foundation skills for puppies and newly adopted dogs
- Multi-dog households
- Behavior modification for problem behaviors (such as aggression, reactivity, fears/ phobias, etc)
- Muzzle training
- Cooperative care
- Enrichment, confidence-building, tricks
- Basic manners
- Recall
- And more!
All of our behavior modification plans implement force-free and effective positive reinforcement techniques, even for the most challenging behaviors. We never use pain, fear, intimidation, or force during training.
Private Training
Behavior therapy packages (private training) are available to clients who would like one-on-one training services.
Behavior Therapy Packages are:
- Tailored to you and your dog’s needs and goals
- Best for those who desire individualized attention and/ or have a variable schedule
- Packages are $770 and include a customized onboarding call with our head trainer as well as 6 training sessions with one of our experienced trainers. There is a $110 deposit for the onboarding call. The sessions include instruction and materials curated for you and your dog. Session run usually every 1-2 weeks
These packages start virtually, then move to in-person when agreed upon by you and your trainer.

- Fill out and submit our Dog Training Questionnaire. The more information you provide, the better our trainers can help you!
- Our Client Care Coordinator will reach out to you to schedule the onboarding call. The remainder of the package will be scheduled with one of our trainers after the onboarding call.
Please note that our trainers’ recommended plan might include a Behavior Health Assessment with our board-certified veterinary behaviorist if they determine it is necessary at any point during the training relationship.
Group Classes
We offer both virtual and in-person group classes for ALL dogs and their humans. Our classes are carefully designed and structured so that reactive dogs and shy dogs can participate, too! Click here for our current selection of classes.
