We take a hands-on, on-site approach to equine behavior assessments. Our team comes to your location, working within a 45-minute radius from our practice in Portland, Oregon. Our sessions are personalized to your horse's specific needs, ensuring that each training plan is customized and practical for you and your horse.
The Assessment Process
- Initial Consultation: During the first visit, we’ll perform a comprehensive evaluation of your horse’s medical and behavioral history, observe their environment, and conduct a behavioral assessment. This helps us understand the context of the issues and design an initial training plan.
- Behavior Plan: Based on our assessment, we’ll collaborate with you to create a personalized training and behavior modification plan. This may include environmental changes, training strategies, and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Ongoing Support: After the initial assessment, we remain available to help you track your horse’s progress. We’ll adjust the plan as needed to ensure continued success.
